Two poor old souls find themselves lost in the Sahara. Desparate for food and water, they walk for days on end and feel like giving up.
Just as they are about to collapse, then they both see a tree in the distance. As they walk towards it one of them smells bacon.
“It’s a bacon tree!” “It can’t be, we must be going mad.” “No, really, smell it!”
Overcome by his desire to be sated one of the pair makes a dash for bacon tree, but as he gets to the tree, he’s cut down in a hail of bullets.
His friend calls out to his wounded friend “Are you OK? Is it really a bacon tree?”
“No”, is the reply, “it’s a hambush!”
